Analog Collage

Analog collage traipses the line between art and design, and I am fond of walking that tightrope. For a decade, hand-cut collage has been a staple in my creative process because it creates opportunities for surprise by defamiliarizing objects into design elements. While hand-cut collage had it’s naissance as a key exercise, it has become a keystone by being sampled for high-concept briefs that seek to evoke a niche aesthetic or convey the merging of contrasting worlds & themes.
